Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that is very close to our hearts. They have supported a close family member of the Woods Family with his cancer diagnosis since 2016 and this Coffee Morning is our way of giving something back to show our appreciation and support.
The said member of the Woods family, Alan (Johns Brother) will be travelling down from his home in Nottingham for the day and he will be accompanied by some representatives from Macmillan Cancer Support.
Alan’s story can be found here
Adam Woods is bringing his XBox Racing setup and he’ll be holding a competition on ProjectCars2 game for best lap time around his favourite circuit, Oulton Park Adam is also bringing a Scalextric setup his son McKenzie will be holding lap competitions on that track setup.
We can confirm that our friends from The Coffee Bay will be attending the Charity Day with us to keep visitors refreshed and also allowing the garage staff to be free to meet/greet people rather than being stuck boiling the kettle constantly!
The Coffee Bay attended one of our open days when we were based in Chester and we can certainly vouch for the quality of drinks and service from them.
As well as their premium quality coffee they also have a selection of fine teas, Twinings and caffeine free Pukka teas and infusions. Their luxury hot chocolates are amazing!
As trained Baristas threy are well aware of people’s different preferences, their hot drinks can be made with fresh milk, soya or oat drink.
As a company, The Coffee Bay ethos is to provide a professional and high level of service, their focus is to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The branded cups are made from a sustainable source and are lined with plant based PLA not plastic. The cups and lids are therefore 100% compostable.
The Coffee Bay like to give customers value for money. All of their coffees are made with a double shot of espresso and most are served in 12oz cups. Teas and Hot Chocolate are also served in 12oz cups. To serve their coffee they stand outside the camper, therefore offering their customers a very personal service, in both Welsh and English.
Although parking is limited at the new premises here in Mold there are other car parks outside our compound that we have access to and these are only a 2 minute walk from us.
