Bertie the BMW Isetta was dropped off this morning by his new owner, Stuart, who asked us to give him a good check over and conduct a Classic Friendly Inpection on him.
The Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under license in a number of different countries, including Argentina, Spain,
Belgium, France, Brazil, Germany and the United Kingdom. Because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a
bubble car, a name also given to other similar vehicles. (Wikipedia)
After completing the inspection we found the car to be in a fantastic condition and it has been restored to a very high standard.
Bertie will hopefully be joining us at a few shows this year with Stuart and his family.
